  • Limited edition of 229, each with 5 large, folded sheets of drawing of the of the plans personalized to the buyer and signed by the son of the designer, Reimar Horten. The Horten 229 V3 edition is part of the Horten Projects Colletion being created over the next few years by the Dr. Reimar Horten Foundation.
  • With signed, matching, numbered Certificate of Appreciation as all profits benefit the wings.  
  • Original folder at left was 14 1/8" by 10 3/4."  The new custom printed one shown below is shorter to fit on a normal shelf. 
  • Drawing 1 - two 1:10 scale images of the front view of this historic aircraft - landing gear up and down - on one massive 24” by 69 ½” sheet
  • Drawing 2 -  another 1:10 scale 24” by 69 ½” sheet with 4 side views, 2 landing gear up and 2 landing gear down. 
  • Drawing 3 -  1:10 drawings on a 24” by 48 ½” sheet of the upper and lower views of the main fuselage/center section. 
  • Drawing 4 - 1:10 drawings on a 24” by 48 ½” sheet of the upper and lower wings views.
  • Drawing 5 - 1:15 scale drawing on a 24" by 48 1/2" sheet of the iconic upper aircraft view with the wings attached. 
  • The first internal folder, attached to the back of the front cover, includes an 8" by 10 3/4" color picture of Reimar Horten  
  • In this new work are drawings of the plans of the Horten Ho IX V3 project (Horten Go 229) developed in 1944 as a fighter for the Luftwaffe are presented. These comprehensive plans take as reference the copy that is at the Smithsonian, as well as from additional sources (other than the copyrighted Bentley drawings). 
  • 100% of the net proceeds will go to the conservation and attachment of the wings of the Horten 229 V3 now on display at The Smithsonian Air & Space Udvar-Hazy Center. 
  • These are not a copies; the drawings are 100% original work. 
  • The second internal folder has photocopies of additional information on the technical characteristics of the Horten (Ho IX) 229 V3 and unpublished photos.
